Welcome to the start of the Family and Friends blogspot for Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton.

This site is intended to be a means of communication for all family and friends of Canadian Bob and Skeleton national team members, as they plan and prepare to attend the Vancouver Olympics in February 2010.

The Family and Friends structure is supported by the COC and the winter Sports Federations, with the express intention of making the Olympics an enjoyable and meaningful experience for families and friends of Canadian winter athletes and, most importantly, remove worries and stresses from the athletes as they prepare for the upcoming Games.

As in past games, there will be hospitality venues for nominated Family and Friends in both Vancouver and Whistler - Canada House. Canada House is a home-away-from-home for Canadian Olympic team members and their families - a place to relax, socialize, and watch events together.The plan for Whistler is for Canada House to be located in the Whistler Library complex.

The more comments, questions, answers posted by all participants - the more effective this blogspot will be.
